WebLike Alan Bennett with his plays, Sondheim has almost never delivered a dud show. For me "Company" is his absolute masterpiece, with its songs that sometimes humorously, sometimes sadly, always incisively, breathe life into relationships that are living or dying, but "Follies" has much of the same brilliance.
