At any given time I have atleaset 98% of my CPU available and usually over 750mgs of RAM available. So check out what msgale said, if your system isn't using much CPU don't sweat it. Edge itself is not to blame for your memory usage, its your antivirus, system processes and other programs you have running in the background.
