Web1. level 1. Op · 1 yr. ago. So I've installed my BLTouch on my SKR Mini v2.0 in the native BLTouch port (no z-homing using the BLT). When I choose bed level, the BLT probes the first point and stops. I've used both the pre-compiled BLT/SKR Mini v2.0 firmware from BIGTREETECH as well as compiled my own using the guide here on reddit. WebG29 Probing Failed! Stick the rectangle under the lhs and lower z until it touches, then move the rectangle to the rhs.manually turn the z screw by hand until it touches. Then recheck lhs. WebThe probe worked perfectly doing a g34 or an accuracy test. G29 Pn also worked perfectly. But then randomly and more and more often I started to get probe errors that required a hard reset almost always on the last probe of the G29 before the print (which usually fell on right front corner).
WebEDIT: Ok. So after removing the capacitor I tried it again. One point failed during g29 but the probe wasn't exhibiting any of the oddities it was before, such as slight light flickering. I went back to Marlin and disabled BLTouchV3 and flashed the firmware. I just did three consecutive G29's successfully.
